Welcome to Pretty Penticton! Penticton lies at the southern end of Okanagan Lake and adjoins Skaha Lake. Each year Penticton draws thousands of visitors. Many of our guests enjoy the beauty of our beaches and warm sunshine that includes 2032 hours of sunshine, only 218 mm of rain and 148 frost free days each year. Visitors come to enjoy our spectacular views including the many colors of spring where between April 15 and May 20, you can see cherries, peaches, pears, apples and grapes all show off their blossom coats.
The Penticton Peach festival in August celebrates the crop with parades, fireworks and other fun activities. Other annual events include the Ironman Canada Triathlon, a Celebrity Golf Tournament and in October, the season finishes off with the Okanagan Wine Festival celebrated throughout the Okanagan Valley.
Local Activities including Golfing, Boat Cruises, Mountain Biking and Skiing are just a few of the many activities available for those who come to Penticton.
